Get Ready to Rodeo
Now’s the time to establish your rodeo traditions. Rodeos have made a comeback and they are the seventh largest in overall attendance for major sporting events
Big Water’s bulls and horses have been selected for the SouthEastern Circuit Finals for over 20 years. In 2022, our bareback horse, CoalMIner, was selected as Bareback Horse of the Circuit Finals.
Our Story
BIG WATER PRO RODEO
Big Water Pro Rodeo was started in 2022 by Seth and Megan Louthan and their family. Seth has been involved in rodeo and ranching his entire life. Helping his father as a kid, and later as a bronc rider and pickup man for the PRCA. He has been raising bucking bulls for over 20 years. In 2009, we started our horse breeding program. Over the years we have had many bulls and horses selected for the SouthEastern Circuit Finals. Including, the 2022 Bareback Horse of the Circuit Finals. In 2021, one bull was selected for the Wrangler NFR in Las Vegas. Being a rancher by trade, Seth knows, “The best way to get the genetics you want in cattle or horses is to raise them yourself.”
Seth has been involved for many years providing livestock, picking up, and helping out at many of the rodeos in the SouthEastern Circuit. He is no stranger to the rodeo production side either, he has been on the Okeechobee Cattlemen's Association Board of Directors for 22 years and he is currently the county Cattlemen's President and Rodeo Committee Chairman.
We live the ranching, rodeo, and cowboy way of life every day and intend to do so forever.
